Denim jackets are the epitome of the
‘90s and are clearly not going out of style any time soon. The perks of owning
a denim jacket is that it can go with absolutely anything. Yes, that includes
jean-on-jean action as well—if Britney Spears can do it, so can you. Point is,
denim jackets are a must in everyone’s closet—both females and males. They are
the safety blankets to a boring or funky outfit. No matter what, you will
always stay looking cool and fresh.
Fall is a perfect time to whip out
your denim jacket on days where it’s a bit chilly or raining. It gives off a
laid back and effortless coolness to your look, and this Fashionista definitely
looked cool in her casual rendition of the denim jacket. She paired her cropped
light denim
jacket with a gray crop top,
which I think complements the jacket and doesn’t drown her look. Her classic black skinny
jeans with ripped knees made her outfit appear edgy and
rugged. Her choice of shoes resonated an old school vibe, which were
plain white Nikes.
To tie the look all together, she sported her navy NY cap,
which transformed her already casual look into a more laid back, relaxed and
sporty one. It wouldn’t be a complete outfit without some stacked dainty rings
or mid-rings, which add a little femininity to this casual and sporty look.
This Fashionistas look pays a modern tribute to the classic high-waisted jeans,
crop top, denim jacket and sneakers that were big during the late ’80s and
early to mid ’90s.
