WHAT TO WEAR: Day To Night

It’s November, which means the days are getting shorter and the nights are getting longer. Transitioning from an hour ahead to an hour behind brings us the joy of getting out of school at 4:30 p.m whilst the sun begins to set, which gradually becomes a pitch black sky within an hour in that time frame. And I say that with much sarcasm. However, when it comes to going on a night out with friends after you’ve finished school, this makes transitioning your outfit from day to night much easier.
This Fashionista models the perfect outfit that easily and effortlessly transitions from a day in class to a night out in town. Her outfit screams chic and feminine with her staple trench coat and leopard print scarf. These beige pieces complement one another, creating a neutral palette, allowing for her accessories to jazz it up a bit. She paired her plain white T-shirt with distressed boyfriend jeans, making this outfit comfortable enough for class and trendy enough to strut the streets in town. One thing I like about this Fashionista’s outfit is the trendy cuffing of the jeans. This allows you to admire the beauty of the shoes without it being covered, as well as prevent you from drowning in your boyfriend jeans. This Fashionista pulled the look together by rocking black ankle boots, which add an edgy feel to her polished look. Her chic black boots and purse, which adds a depth of color, aided in making her outfit a sophisticated yet relaxed ensemble.
One Simple Change: If you’re feeling a bit underdressed for an occasion that requires a professional but relaxed look and you don’t have enough time to change, simply exclude the scarf and swap it for a pair of high-heeled boots. The scarf gives it a less classy and professional vibe to the outfit, while the heeled boots not only allows you to stand out, but also gives you a few inches!
